  • Sensory Indulgence by Mindy Yang:
    Soho's specialty apothecary hosted a series of unique, scent-inspired events throughout May, designed to captivate your senses in a remarkable way.

    The intimate sessions, known as Rituals II ($85), invited participants to embark on an olfactory journey, guided by expert Mindy Yang. Attendees explored a collection of curated fragrances that transported them to places around the world, from a sultry afternoon in Havana to a romantic night along the Seine.

    During the Scents for Foodies session, Yang unveiled the intricacies of each scent as guests savored the notes. "Cocktail architect" Yusef Austin then crafted visionary elixirs inspired by the fragrances, which were complemented by carefully selected small bites. The Aphrodisiacs session delved into the world of pheromones and alluring scents, paired with Austin's enchanting love potions. The Perfumed Spirits session offered an advanced exploration of potent fragrances and spirits.

    Rituals II proved to be a transformative sensory experience that introduced participants to scents they never knew they loved. As the evening progressed, the fragrances grew increasingly enticing, leaving everyone eager for more samples. Even weeks after the event, the captivating aroma of Penhaligon's Malabah, lingering on blotter strips, continued to evoke fond memories.
